Substance Painter

Most of the 3D games use Substance Painter for texturing. Just started working on Substance Painter and I'm already in love with this software.

It's been 4 days. Working as an Intern at Gamersroof as 3D Generalist. Well, modelling for games is completely a different approach than modeling for films.

Snowy Forest in Houdini

Followed a tutorial by Niels Prayer and created this using L - Systems.
By following this tutorial I got a good understanding of L - systems in Houdini.
Gained compositing skills in After Effects.

Started with a new project "Samurai"


Well, Trying out a new story "Samurai" for a 360 Degree short or VR short
Hoping to deliver the same result as I have envisioned it.

Conducted a Stop motion animation workshop along with our faculty Jasbinder Sir and Gaurav Sir. A two day workshop that ended up well having a lot of fun.

Celebrate Cinema @ Whistling Woods International
Celebrate Cinema 2016 is a platform to rub shoulders with the best and learn about techniques in Indian Cinema over two action-packed days. An open-for-all event, for all cinema lovers, aspiring filmmakers, media and fashion professionals, where they will have an opportunity to attend workshops, screenings, various contests and celebrity panel discussions.
And our sculptures were displayed at one of the installations in GAME OF THRONES poster style. Thanks to faculty and friends who made this possible. 


Started with Houdini

Always exciting to learn a new software.

Created a Spiral Stairs asset in Houdini and tried a render creating a Flat design.

Created a basic butterfly model and animated it using sine deformer.

Created the particles and the instancer to instance the object.

Created the waterfalls using another particle emitter and used Particle collision event editor to create the secondary particles.

Zbrush Environment Sculpting


An Environment sculpting that I worked on long time ago.

Used Maya to model the basic shapes of the rocks, then used Zbrush to sculpt, texture and create maps like AO map, Normal map and Cavity map.

Final Year Project

"Memories"  - A Story that is closer to my heart. My story wasn't selected cause it's lengthy and has many characters. Well! I've shelved  the story for now. 

But yes! My story was appreciated by everyone in class. 

"Camp Out" (working title) is the story by my friend Sumit Meshram which was equally liked by everyone in class.

I'm currently working the Screenplay for "Camp Out"

Here we Go! Semester 5

Well! After a long vacation of writing screenplay for a feature film "Rocket Rohan(Working title)". I need to take some time to improve the story even more. 

Now back to college for the 5th semester

It's been 3 months now that I've been working on my 2D film script. For now the working title is "Rocket Rohan". Why Rocket Rohan one might think!! I just wanted to make it sound Indian. The title can be changed anytime. It's about a teenage genius who is a time traveler. I'm happy with the story so far.

13 Volumes was a success

13 Volumes - The exhibition was a success. Everyone appreciated us for our handwork. I thank my faculty Kuldeep Mehta for making this exhibition happen in such a short notice and Jayant Sharma for working on the poster design the whole night.

Well, I've been busy making templates, coordinating with the faculty and my fellow classmates and gathering information about their characters. 13 Volumes is to exhibit all the sculptures that we made during the sculpting workshop under the guidance of Debasis Nayak. Fingers crossed. . . I'll keep it posted. .

Autodesk Memento beta test

Tried Autodesk Memento on the sculpture that I made.
Memento uses the photos taken in different angles and converts it into a 3D Model.
Tested in beta version.
